I know it seems to be too early for me to worry about my tertiary Education now.
I haven clear my N' Level yet.
But ,
No harm planning ahead , right ?
In my opinion.
Taking the Junior College route.
The advantages are ,
- It takes shorter time to complete. [ 2 years ]
- A direct admission to university.
- An A' Level Certificate.
- The nature of teaching and the style of learning is similar to University.
The disadvantages are ,
- It could be tedious.
- High risk of failing General Paper.
- The syllabus can be concentrated.
- It requires a high level of self discipline.
Taking the Polytechnics route.
The advantages are ,
- The timetable is based on self.
- The nature of teaching and the style of learning is relaxed.
- A Diploma Certificate.
- It's less stress and is manageable for most people.
The Disadvantages are ,
- It takes longer time to complete. [ 3 years ]
- You must be in top 10% in the whole entire polytechnics then you will be posted to a University provided if your GPA is more than 3.5
- The nature of learning and the style on teaching is different from University.
- You will only specialise in the course you take so it is not a full spectrum.
If I take the JC route , I will be 19 years old by then.
If I take the poly route , I will be 20 years old by then.
Woah~ I am that old by then.
BUT ,
before all that could happens.
I
must take O' Level .
In order to take O' Level , I
must promote to secondary 5.
In order to promote to secondary 5 , I
must clear N' Level with a EMB3 19 or below.
